MY PROJECTS

ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING OF METALS

The project was conducted under the hospice of the Israel Ministry of Science, Technology, and Space. The collaborative project between the Ben Gurion University (BGU), the Technion and the  Israel Institute of Metals (IIM), and the NRCN. P.I.- Prof. Nachum Frage from the Department of Materials Engineering at BGU. Co-P.I.s Dr. Shmuel Hayun (BGU), Prof. Abramovich from the Technion, Dr. Eitan Tiferet, and Dr. Ori Yeheskel (NRCN). During this project collaboration with the Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) took place.

IPM BY AN ULTRASONIC SENSOR - HIP CASE STUDY

Intelligent processing of materials (IPM) for hot isostatic pressing (HIP) was conducted under the hospice of the Israel Ministry of Science, Technology, and Art. The collaborative project between the NRCN and Ben Gurion University (BGU), Mechanical Engineering, and Materials Engineering Departments.

P.I. - Mr. Ori Yeheskel (NRCN), Co-P.I.s Dr, Eitan Kochabi (NRCN), Prof. Moshe P. Dariel (BGU), and Prof. Zohar Yosibash (BGU).

Goal: Development of an ultrasonic sensor for in-situ detection of the HIP cycle.

YTTRIA AS AN IR DOME

The project was supported by the Israel Ministry of Defence

P.I. - Mr. Ori Yeheskel (NRCN),Co. P.I. Dr. Atara Horowitz

Goal: Development of an IR dome based on yytria ceramics.

HIP A CRITICAL TECHNOLOGY

The project was supported by the Israel Ministry of Defence.

P.I. Dr. Yigal Gefen- (NRCN),Co.-P.I. Mr. Ori Yeheskel

Goal: Introducing of hot isostatic pressing (HIP) technology to develop advanced materials, e.g. Si3N4 and other materials for the aerospace industry.
